It will supply NGfL Cymru with the following:
- New curriculum content and education resources commissioned on behalf of NGfL Cymru.
- Existing content from its learnpremium online service including lesson plans, teaching and learning resources, whiteboard lessons.
- Expertise in digital educational publishing.
Learnthings is the leading provider of quality interactive e-learning materials for school-age students and their teachers. Launched in May 2000, learnthings is backed by the Guardian, one of the UK’s largest media organisations.
Learnthings currently offers two award-winning e-learning products: learnpremium, an e-learning subscription service for schools, and learn.co.uk, a free-to-use website for parents and students
The company has an ambitious programme of content publishing that is aimed at providing comprehensive coverage of the National Curriculum. This content takes the form of curriculum based online lessons and tests, supported by extensive additional resources such as projects and events, a daily news service and materials exploiting the vast Guardian and Observer newspaper archive.
